Karolyn is incredibly thorough in providing a wide range of legal services for our small business. This includes oversight and creation of legal documents for formation, operational agreements (e.g. indemnification), investments (e.g. convertible notes) and customer engagements (e.g. review and creation of T&Cs for domestic and international). She communicates extremely well and offers clear and concise guidance for critical topics that overlap with accounting. For a small C corp, many of the legal consequences are not apparent. As an example, she doesn't just craft the legal documents for equity deals with investors but also helps us evaluate the impact on our company's capitalization and identifies accounting issues that we should discuss w/ our accounting team. In addition to the creation of documents and valuable guidance, she also helps us manage the ever growing number of legal documents. Although we use an online signing service, we can send her copies as an additional backup to our own setup. This not only adds redundancy but also makes it more efficient when we have to revisit a previous document.
